Company Philosophy

SLK Consulting Group has provided consulting engineering services in the HVAC and plumbing industries to the greater Denver area since the year 2000.

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, SLK Consulting Group serves all of central Colorado, including Boulder, Longmont, and Castle Rock. We specialize in commercial offices and tenant finish; however, both principals also have extensive experience in medical, school, retail, and industrial projects.

The firm has intentionally remained small, with a philosophy of providing individualized service to a select group of clients. We typically take on smaller projects with a fast turn-around, where balancing the client's needs and desires against a limited budget is important.

Principals

The two principals of the firm are Samuel L. Knopp and Paul D. Seward, P.E. Both have more than 25 years in the consulting engineering business.

SLK Consulting Group also employs a business manager and two CAD operators.

Operation

The company has taken advantage of the latest technological advancements in the industry to accomplish its work. We use AutoCAD computer-aided drafting software to create drawings. Plotting and blueprinting services are provided by outside sources, using an electronic file transfer process.

SLK Consulting Group's principals have developed relationships with other small firms in the support service industries to deliver projects to our clients in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. We make every effort to keep our company overhead costs low in order to maintain some of the lowest engineering fees in the industry.
